Join us in assisting impoverished schoolchildren in Wake County. Did you know that on any given day North Carolina has an average of 10,000 people experiencing homelessness?
Even more alarming is the data reported to the U.S. Dept. of Education from public schools in our state indicating that approximately 26,000 children in North Carolina alone experience homelessness throughout the course of the school year.
As stakeholders of our community, we hope to bring attention to this issue by doing all that we can to help children and families overcome social-economic barriers and provide a more promising future for them. To achieve this goal, we will direct support to Note in a Pocket. A grassroots non-profit, whose mission is to provide quality clothing to impoverished schoolchildren in our district.
By doing so, we hope to remove barriers to their development and empower them to live up to their fullest potential.
Getting involved has never been so simple, or Free!
