I’m the old man in the office now. I have been in the insurance business since 1988.
I grew up in Raleigh and went to Sanderson High School.
I love to be a resource for people. If I can help someone solve a problem during the day then it’s been a good day!
I really enjoy hanging out with my family…
My wife and I love working in the yard. We also love our Tarheels and love going to games with our 2 adult Tarheels!
One of the things I love to do outside of the office is hunt deer, ducks, and turkey. I love being outside in the woods.

I joined Lawson Insurance Group in 2002 after receiving my licenses for Property & Casualty and Life & Health that same year. I owned a separate agency location for 10 years before we merged our 3 agencies in 2017.
I am a Raleigh native and attended all Raleigh schools including Douglas Elementary, East Millbrook Middle School, Sanderson High School, and N.C. State University where I was a 4-year letterman on the football team.
I studied education at N.C. State and I love educating people about what they are paying for and why. Insurance is not just something you have to have, it’s protection for what matters most to you.
My wife and daughter bring smiles to my face and I’m blessed to have them in my life. The time I get to spend with each one individually and all of us together is invaluable to me.
I love working in my yard on the weekends and just being outside no matter what the weather. You can find us at church every Sunday morning and at the dance studio for my daughter most other times.
I love to play golf and shoot sporting clays but I would say my best times are sitting with my wife and either playing games as a family or watching our daughter dance.
I am a Deacon and Sunday School teacher at my church and serve on the board of Raleigh Crime Stoppers, a nonprofit that offers an anonymous phone line for people to call in tips to help solve crimes in our area.

After a few years in the accounting world, I came to Lawson Insurance Group in 1999. Before we merged all of our offices back into one office in 2017 I ran our Durham office for 12 years.
I was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. Actually, the longest I have ever been outside of Raleigh is 12 days!
Helping people cover their biggest assets, and being there for them in during a loss is what drives me and excites me about Insurance.
I enjoy golf, baseball, and being involved in anything my sons are involved in.
I enjoy spending time with my family at home watching our “family shows”, watching my youngest play baseball, or camping with my oldest son with BSA Troop 350.
I love cooking, especially on a grill or in a cast iron dutch oven over coals.
I am very active with the Boy Scouts of America, serving as an Assistant Scoutmaster with Troop 350, and as an Advisor with the Kiowa Chapter, Lodge 104 of the Order of the Arrow (BSA’s service organization). I have also coached youth baseball for many years.

I am fairly new to the insurance industry, having only been with Lawson Insurance Group for 5 months.
I was born and raised right here in Raleigh. I went to college at UNC-Chapel Hill and graduated in 2018. Go Heels!
I love connecting with and helping people so being a part of the Lawson Insurance Group allows me to create a lasting connection based on trust and respect with our customers.
I am an avid fan of UNC Athletics and take any chance I can get to spend a day in Chapel Hill. I also love being outdoors, whether that be fishing, hunting, or just relaxing on the porch.
When not at work you can find me at the pool, the beach, or a concert during the summer. In the fall, you’d be hard-pressed to find me anywhere but at a football game in Chapel Hill.
I recently started to pick up the guitar again and love being able to relax and just strum along with some of my favorite songs.
I like to volunteer for a charity organization a fraternity brother of mine started a chapter for at UNC called Roc Solid. Roc Solid builds playsets and jungle gyms for children with cancer at UNC Hospital.

I grew up in a small town in Northern North Carolina. I have a Bachelor’s Degree and am currently attending graduate school.
My family has been in insurance for 2 generations; I’ve been in and around it all my life. I’ve always been a caretaker, and this position gives me the ability to maintain that role.
I really enjoy the outdoors, riding horses, and spending time with friends and family. I love music, all genres, and have been involved with music since I was little.
When I’m not working, you can find me riding horses or taking a spontaneous beach trip with my mom.
I was born and raised in Durham, NC. I attended Northern Durham High School, where I played baseball. For College, I attended Campbell University and majored in Elementary Education.
I am just getting started in the insurance industry. I have taught middle school for my entire first career. I have spent a lot of time working with kids and parents navigating through the awkward years of middle school. I look forward to using that servant mentality in this industry.
I enjoy making a difference, bringing laughter, and being someone you can count on. I enjoy my family, watching my daughters grow, and trying to make my wife laugh every day. I love sports, golf, football, baseball, and Tar Heel basketball.
When I am not working, I love being on the golf course and/or watching my girls in their activities. I enjoy volunteering at church and helping others.
I was born in Bristol, CT, and raised in Bunn, NC. I graduated from Wren High School in Piedmont, SC.
My journey in the insurance world began at NCJUA/NCIUA through a temporary service and that’s where I discovered my passion for extended learning. I enjoy the feeling of learning something new every day. That experience was a great way to get my feet wet in the industry. Fast forward and now with 3 yrs of experience behind me, I can still confidently say I learn something new things every day to better serve and protect my customers.
Being able to help people when they need it most is what excites me most about my work. It brings me joy whenever I am able to make someone smile with an act of service.
Outside of work, I am a mom, so when I am not being a wonder woman, I enjoy dancing to Kizomba and reading. Yoga with my munchkins also brings me a lot of joy. My guilty pleasure is running away to the beach every chance I get but having lived in both North Carolina and South Carolina I am happy to leave the South Carolina humidity behind.
My ideal weekend is spending time with my kiddos and winding down with a good book once my girls are asleep.
